13 Reverend Sisters Die From Coronavirus at Michigan Convent
Thirteen reverend sisters who all worked and lived together at a Michigan convent have died from Coronavirus.
Twelve of the sisters passed away in the span of a month.
The 13th sister, Sister Mary Danatha Suchyta, 98 died of the virus on June 27.
Sister Mary Danatha had been a member of the congregation for 80 years, and all 13 who died were members for at least 50 years,
Currently, forty-four Felician sisters now live at the Michigan convent, down from 57 in April.
Another 17 sisters had the disease but they all recovered.
