13 Reverend Sisters Die From Coronavirus at Michigan Convent

Thirteen reverend sisters who all worked and lived together at a Michigan convent have died from Coronavirus. 

Twelve of the sisters passed away in the span of a month.

From April 10 to May 10, twelve sisters ranging in age from 69 to 99 died of COVID-19 at the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary convent in Livonia, Michigan.
The 13th sister, Sister Mary Danatha Suchyta, 98 died of the virus on June 27.

Sister Mary Danatha had been a member of the congregation for 80 years, and all 13 who died were members for at least 50 years,

Currently, forty-four Felician sisters now live at the Michigan convent, down from 57 in April.

Another 17 sisters had the disease but they all recovered.
