Woman 35, Stabs Electricity Worker to Death for Disconnecting her Light

A 35-year-old woman has been nabbed by men of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC, for allegedly stabbing an official of the Ikeja Electric company in Lagos State.

The Lagos State Commandant of the NSCDC, Mr. Tajudeen Balogun, told reporters that the suspect identified as Ms. Ediale Ayodele who lives at No. 6, Ayodola Close, Akonwonjo, allegedly stabbed the Ikeja electricity official to death, while he was on a routine checkup drive in the area.

The unfortunate official had arrived at the property to check on a disconnection which was carried out some weeks ago, when an altercation occurred between the suspect and the deceased.

As the altercation got heated up, the suspect reportedly grabbed a knife and fatally stabbed the deceased during the course of the altercation.

Daily Post reports that the deceased was immediately rushed to the General Hospital at Alimoso, but unfortunately he was was confirmed dead on arrival

The NSCDC commandant confirmed that more information will be released to the public when the commission completes the ongoing information.
