9th NASS: PDP Governors Meet Ahead of Tomorrow’s Election
- PDP planning to take a position on leadership of the 9th NASS.
- Dogar joins governors at the meeting.
Governors elected under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are currently in a meeting in Abuja, the nation’s capital ahead of tomorrow’s inauguration of the 9th National Assembly in order to take a position on the event.
It was gathered that the meeting which is happening under the aegis of the PDP Governors Forum, is taking place at the Bayelsa State Lodge, Maitama Abuja, hosted by the forum chairman, Henry Dickson.

According to reports, the meeting is to fashion out a common position as the legislators elect their leaders for the ninth assembly.
What is not clear is whether the main opposition party will be presenting candidates within the party or would side with the candidates being floated by the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).
