Abule Ado Explosion: Sanwo-Olu Sets Up N2bn Relief Fund for Victims
In other to bring succor to the victims of the explosions at the Abule Ado, in Amuwo Odofin Local Government, Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has set up a N2 billion relief fund.
Speaking at the site of the incident, the governor who went there with his deputy, Dr. Babafemi Hamzat revealed that the State government will immediately credit the fund with N250 million.
While noting that ameliorating the losses of the people is not the function of the government alone, he said that some of his colleagues have promised to also donate with three banks ready to open the account.

The Governor has immediately set up a committee to investigate the remote and immediate causes of the explosions. The committee will be headed by the Deputy Governor and has two weeks to submit its reports.
