Again, Obasanjo Condemns Secessionists Agenda

The former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has condemned the recent calls for the breakup of the country saying that would not in any way benefit any section of the country. This he said when he visited the Olu of Warri at his palace in Delta State, Southsouth, Nigeria.  Rather, he said Nigerians should desire a change of mindset in order to make the country better.

One would recall that the former president of Nigeria Chief Olusegun Obasanjo had earlier dismissed insinuations of a breakaway state of Biafra just as he rejected calls for restructuring. This was during his visit to the governor of Kano State as part of efforts to offer condolences on the death of the late Maitama Sule.
