Eyitayo Jegede: Akeredolu Has Rolled Back Progress of Past Administrations
The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of the Ondo election, Eyitayo Jegede has claimed that the Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu administration has rolled back the progress made by the previous government in healthcare.
He stated this via his Twitter page while releasing his healthcare plan. The governorship election is billed for October 10th.
He also said that they have neglected Mother and Child hospital and own the salaries of medical personnel.

Jegede states Ondo people’s aspiration
In his manifesto, Jegede pointed out that the yearnings and aspirations of the people of Ondo State is a turnaround in their fortune.
“We are determined to turn around the fortunes of all our people and especially those at the grassroots, through the provision of quality education, accessible healthcare, modern agricultural practices, and improved workers’ welfare,” part of his manifesto reads.
In healthcare, the PDP candidate promised to have special medical facilities for women and children across the three Senatorial Zones in the State.
He said such access to medical care for women and children will be at an affordable and minimal cost. The health care programme will also be heavily subsidized by the State Government. He added that such programme will later be available free of charge.
