Am Bigger Than Twitter, I Will Continue Speaking Loud And Clear – Aisha Yesufu

  • Online and offline we will continue to fight this failed government.
  • I will quit on God’s own terms.

A co-convener of the Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) Advocacy group has reacted to her return on the social media Twitter saying she will continue to speak “out there loud and clear”.

It could be recalled that the human right activist was banned from the social network after her account was blocked for unknown reasons. She usually use her account for constant criticism of the ruling government.

Twitter had however apologised over the matter, blaming a mix-up for it.

Reacting after being unbanned by Twiter she tweeted: “Just so you know, my name is Aisha Yesufu! I am more than a Twitter handle! I am a force to be reckoned with! A force here on this earth on God’s own terms & will quit on God’s own terms. I have attachment to nothing even life itself! As for integrity I don’t mouth it, I ACT IT!,”

She also expressed her appreciation to those who showed concern over her ban from social media adding that she will continue her criticism and advocacy.

“Thank you to all those who called, sent text messages, emails. Thank you to all those who were concerned. Thank you all for your kind words and appreciation. Online and offline we will continue to fight this failed government. We will highlight the suffering of the masses!

“If you don’t want us to speak, then do the right thing! Give Nigeria good governance! Allow Nigeria to be where it is supposed to be. Nigeria can be a Nation that can be among the top five in this world”
