Annoyed US-Based Lady Slams Nigerians Who Think People In Diaspora Have It Easier
A US-based lady identified as Ruka Momodu on Facebook slams Nigerians who assume it’s easier for people in the diaspora.
“It’s extremely very very annoying and frustrating when people back home in Africa think just because you are in America (Gods own country, the land of milk and honey) then, money isn’t your problem or better said in their own words “common hundred dollars cannot be your problem,” she wrote.
She also slammed people who demand for money without caring about how people abroad are fairing and explained that some people in Nigeria even have it better than those in diaspora.
“These are people who would never ask how you are fairing or how you make ends meet. No they don’t care! They go as far as helping you convert it to Naira to let you know. Believe me that right there upsets me the most. Y’all need to stop! Just STOP It!!! I understand it’s hard there, O really do but y’all have no idea that most of you even have it better than we do here.”
She ended the post by vowing to slam anyone one who messages her for money again.
