Former Vice President and 2019 Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Alh. Atiku Abubakar in a recent statement he released Today as taken time to celebrate his boss and former President Olusegun Obasanjo, who turned 82 years of age today.

Atiku Abubakar in his statement applauded the former Pres. for his service to the country, he disclosed that there is no living Nigerian that has given as much to Nigeria in peacetime and in war as much as the former Pres. had done.

He also took time to pray to God to grant Olusegun Obasanjo more years in good health.

Atiku Abubakar in a statement via his Twitter handle wrote, “A very happy 82nd birthday to you, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo. No living Nigerian has given as much to Nigeria in peacetime and in war as you have. May almighty God grant you many more years in good health and continued service to Nigeria and the world at large. -AA

The 2019 Presidential candidate of the PDP, Alh. Atiku Abubakar was the Vice Pres. to Olusegun Obasanjo during his eight years administration, which took place between the year 1999 to 2007.

Former Pres. Olusegun Obasanjo whose full name is Olusegun Matthew Okikiola Aremu Obasanjo GCFR Ph.D. was born on the 5th of March 1937 at Abeokuta in Ogun State.

The Former Pres. is a former Nigerian Army General and he served as a military ruler from 13th of February 1976 to 1st of October 1979.

Olusegun Obasanjo was also elected as a Democratic president on the 29th of May 1999 and ended his tenure on the 29th of May 2007, when he handed over to the late Pres. Umaru Musa Yaradua.
