Atiku Denies Releasing List of Corrupt People In Buhari’s Governmment

– Director General of Atiku Abubakar Campaign, Gbenga Daniel disclosed that the PDP Presidential candidate didn’t release any list of corrupt people in Buhari’s government

– He added that the list came out at the wrong time

Phrank Shaibu, the Media aide to the PDP presidential aspirant, Atiku Abubakar, yesterday released a list of corrupt people in the Pres. Muhammadu Buhari administration.

The names included 30 people with the likes of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Adam Oshiomole among others appearing on the list.

However, the Director-General to Atiku Abubakar Presidential campaign and former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniels in a new statement disclosed that the statement was not authorized by the PDP presidential candidates.

The former Ogun State Gov. said Atiku doesn’t have the habit of making an unguarded statement about people.

He said ”Abubakar is a statesman and not in the habit of making unguarded and unsubstantiated claims about persons and institutions.”

Gbenga Daniel went on to say that Atiku Abubakar believes in the rule of law and that he “would not accuse people wrongly especially if no competent court of law has found them guilty.”

The Director-General of Atiku Abubakar Presidential campaign went on to say that the list of the corrupt people was released late by the media.

He hinted that PDP wanted to release the list as a response to Lai Mohammed’s statement that the FG will investigate Atiku Abubakar for having a hand in the collapse of Bank PHB.

The Min. Of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed in a statement after Atiku traveled to the US for the first time in 12 years said the Government have provable document that the PDP candidate was involved in the collapse of Bank PHB.

But since Atiku’s return nothing has been done.
