Aubameyang Meets Formula One’s Lewis Hamilton
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang made the most of the International break, opting to go support world-renowned Mercedes driver, Lewis Hamilton in his quest for glory in Italy.
The Gabonese forward joined several sport superstars including African and Chelsea legend, Didier Drogba at Monza for the Italian Grand Prix which took place on sunday.
With his country, Gabon not in action during the International break, the winger took advantage of the break to visit the historic Autodromo Nazionale Monza where he met Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton and other top Formula One drivers.
The 30-year-old just like Cristiano Ronaldo did a year ago took a tour of the Mercedes garage and a picture pose with Lewis Hamilton who finished just behind teammate Valtteri Bottas and eventual winner Charles Leclerc.
Aubameyang went to see the race in the company of his brother and spouse.
The winger has kick started the season on the front foot, continuing in the same form that saw him win the Golden Boot award last term alongside Liverpool duo and fellow African players in Sadio Mane and Mohammed Salah.
The former Dortmund man has already found the net three times in four games already. He then made one assist in the North London club’s 4-1 trashing to league leaders, Liverpool.
Arsenal fans would hope that the forward continues on his goalscoring rampage when they take a trip to Vicarage road to lock horns with Watford on Sunday.
