Barcelona Closer Than Ever To Signing Neymar
Barcelona are confident of landing Brazilian playmaker and winger, Neymar before the close of the general transfer window.
The Neymar transfer saga has dragged all summer long and the Blaugranas think themselves in a good position to complete a deal for the PSG forward soonest.
According to Goal.com, there were face-to-face discussions between the duo of PSG and Barcelona in Paris on Tuesday afternoon and the man with the keys to Spanish giant’s treasury, CEO Oscar Grau is reported to have travelled to France with an offer of £141million plus bonuses for Neymar. It was however reported that the fee is to be paid in three instalments to keep in line with Financial Fair Play rules.
That said, PSG are said to be uninterested in a deal none other than £90million plus full-back Nelson Semedo. Barcelona on the other hand are unwilling to give up any member of the present squad at the Camp Nou.
Regardless of the disparities in what each club wants, the Blaugranas are incredibly confident that they would land the Brazilian very soon, possibly in a matter of hours in fact.

“We don’t have an agreement yet,” the Spanish giants executive Javier Bordas told the press upon returning to Catalunya on Tuesday. “We are still talking but we are closer.”
For Neymar’s part, the Brazilian is hugely interested in a return to Camp Nou and favours a move there than to bitter rivals, Real Madrid who have been unable to turn the PSG man’s head in their direction.
With this in mind, PSG are now thought to be more open to a sale to Barca having previously shown themselves to more interested in moving the attacker to any other side save from Barca due to the previous breakdown in relationship between both clubs.
Barcelona fans are relishing Neymar’s partnership with Messi and hoping that an addition of Griezmann to the squad can bring the UEFA Champions League trophy to the Camp Nou.
