Barcelona Vs Levante LaLiga 27 April Preview

Barcelona have their destiny in their hands and could already be crowned the champions of the LaLiga before their kickoff against Levante at the Camp Nou if Atletico Madrid fail to win their game against Real Valladolid on Saturday afternoon.

Peradventure Atletico claims a win against Real Valladolid, a win for Barcelona against Levante would crown them Spanish Champions.

Barcelona

Barcelona have been by miles far ahead of any other Laliga side this term. A nine point lead over second-placed Atletico Madrid paints a false picture of how the Blaugranas have performed.

They have amassed a record total of 80 points from 24 wins, 8 draws and 2 defeats with four games left to play before the end of the season.

That said, it goes without saying that although the Spanish giants are packed with a bunch of talents, they wouldn’t be in a position for a treble this campaign without the input of their talisman, Lionel Messi who has notched a total of 45 goals in all competitions this season.

It would be important for Barcelona to secure the title in front of their home fans and know that they have the title in their bag ahead of their Champions League first leg encounter with Liverpool.

Levante

A 4-0 win against Sevilla last outing shoved Levante from a low 18th position on the LaLiga standings to 14th and gave them the confidence boost that they had been lacking.

Prior to that massive win, they had gone on a nine game stretch with no win. Their 14th position on the log is only one better off than the 15th position they finished the league with last term.

With four games left to play, the Valencia-based outfit would fancy their chances of bettering their last season performances and they have a striker in the frame of Jose Luis Morales who could give them just that.

Morales has scored 11 Laliga goals this season and is capable of causing Barcelona’s defence line a lot of problems.
