Barcelona Vs Real Madrid Copa Del Rey 6 February Preview

Barcelona will welcome fiercest rivals, Real Madrid in another El Clasico encounter as they slug it out in the first leg encounter of the Copa del Rey.

Barcelona ran out 5-1winners over Real Madrid when the pair met in the first El Clasico of the season and will be willing to repeat the same feat.

Barcelona

Barcelona have their names written on this trophy as they have won the cup in each of their last four campaigns.

That said, the Catalans haven’t had it quite straightforward on their way to the semi-finals. They have had to overturn results on home soil after losing to both Levante and Sevilla in the first leg encounters of the tie.

Needless to say, the La Liga champions have been over reliant on Lionel Messi throughout the campaign and they would be willing to grind out results against Real whether or not the Argentine gets to play.

Real Madrid

Things have definitely been stabilized under the helm of Santiago Solari at least when compared to October when they lost 5-1 to the Blaugranas.

That said, they haven’t been free from problems under Solari. However, a good run of form that has seen them claim five wins in a row is a good sign of things to come for the Galacticos.

The Galacticos have won three consecutive Champions league but have struggled on local front. Solari and his men will be willing to overturn events and clinch the title.
