Bill to covert Kaduna Polytechnic to Kaduna City University to be passed to the President this week

– Sen. Shehu Sanni has revealed that the bill to convert Kaduna Polytechnic to Kaduna City University will be passed to the Pres. this week

– The Senator also spoke on the problems in the Education sector

According to a new statement, Sen. Shehu Sanni from Kaduna state has disclosed that the Senate will pass the bill that will convert Kaduna Polytechnic to Kaduna City University to President Muhammadu Buhari for final assent this week.

Sen. Shehu Sanni in his statement said, “The Bill to Convert the Kaduna Polytechnic to Kaduna City University will finally be passed this week and sent to the President for assent.”

He also went ahead to speak on some of the problems in the education sector in the country.

Sen. Shehu Sanni stressed that the degrees acquired by the children of the poor do not guarantee jobs for them while those from well to do homes are assured of getting jobs after their tertiary education.

He said, “the degrees that will not guarantee jobs is the one acquired by the children of the poor, the downtrodden and  those born with a wooden or a Plastic spoon. For those Born with a silver and Gold spoons, JOB DEY!”
In an earlier statement, Pres. Muhammadu Buhari had made it made it known to Nigerian graduates that their Degree is no longer a meal ticket, he urged them to look for ways to create jobs for themselves.

Pres. Muhammadu Buhari in his statement on Friday at the 13th Convocation for the conferment of higher degrees, postgraduate diplomas and honorary degrees of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State added that his administration will continue to work out ways to battle unemployment in the country.
