Initially, her attorney had asked for a five-year restraining order, but Gould-Saltman said three years seemed appropriate as Rousseau has not attempted to contact Eilish or her family since May 5. He reportedly showed up to the house multiple times on May 4 and May 5, exhibiting “erratic behavior.”

At one point, he asked Eilish’s father through a surveillance camera whether the 18-year-old, “Bad Guy” singer lived at the home. When he was told he had the wrong house, he persisted until the family’s private security service was called in. He was later arrested for trespassing.

“While we waited for security, Mr. Rousseau remained on our porch, sat down and began to read a book, while also continuing to engage in a periodic monologue,” Eilish said, per court documents. “My father repeatedly asked him to leave, but he refused.”

The documents added that her and her family felt threatened and scared of Rousseau, who was not wearing a face mask when he repeatedly visited the home.
