Early life of Ronke Raji
Ronke was born March 27,1991 in the United States though she’s got her roots in Oyo state, Nigeria. She attended St Saviour School, Ikoyi, Lagos. She graduated from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia where she began to show interest in beauty products.Growing up, she’s always liked to dress up and put on make up. She never thought she could do anything with it. Then social media came around and gave her opportunity to do something with her passion.

After graduation, Ronke got a job which was short-lived. In her confused state, she came in contact with Nigerian designer, Zainab Ashadu of Zashadu who mentored her. She started posting pictures of herself everyday on instagram. Though she wasn’t sure of what she was doing, Ronke wanted to get herself out there.That led her to YouTube and she have never looked back. She started her first blog back in 2011.
Ronke believes working with other people can help one reach a different audience as collaboration is key. She regards quality over quantity. In an interview with Ndani TV, Ronke stated:
” It’s better you post quality content and find ways to manage what you have. You don’t need a $2,000 camera to post quality content, you can use your phone. The last thing would be consistency. If you are trying to get brand awareness, you have to post regularly so people know what they can expect from you”.
She has been featured on Black girl long hair, Essence, BuzzFeed, Insider, and Bellanaija. She made her New York Fashion Week (NYFW) debut in September, 2018.
