Early life and background of Toyin Abraham
Toyin Abraham was born on the 5th of September, 1982 in Auchi, a town in Edo State in Southern Nigeria. She started her elementary education at Oba Kenzo Nursery and Primary School, Benin before relocating with her family to Ibadan where she completed her primary education. For secondary education, she attended Queen’s Staff School and St. Annes School in Ibadan. Thereafter, she proceeded to bag a Diploma in Business Studies from Iree Polytechnic, Osun State. Toyin also obtained a degree in Philosophy from Olabisi Onabanjo University before returning to Iree Polytechnic to attain a Higher National Diploma in Marketing.
Her Rise to Fame
Toyin Abraham kick-started her acting career in 2003 when a famous Nigerian actress, Bukky Wright came to town to shoot a movie. Initially, she played small roles but soon rose to being a prominent actress playing lead roles. Over the years, she has featured, produced and directed many movies. Today, she has become one of the biggest brands in the Nigerian movie industry. According to her, featuring in Okafor’s law and working with movie director, Omoni Oboli was highly instrumental to her brand. She has worked with the likes of Kunle Afolayan, Tonto Dikeh, Jackie Appiah, Bolanle Ninalowo, Mercy Aigbe, Iyabo Ojo among others. Having experience challenges in pregnancy , Toyin launched her herbal medicine business, Toyin Herbal, a subsidiary of Toyin Abraham Company in October 2019. According to her, she discovered many people have neglected the traditional remedies that served their forefathers during crises of childlessness. Instead, they have sort out other modern inventions which are quite expensive and probably harmful to their health. Due to this, she she launched the Female Fertility Booster (FFB), a product which makes child bearing and conception easier. FFB promotes sexual health, regulates menstrual cycle and cramps, supports and stabilizes pregnancy. Also, Toyin is the CEO of CurvslimmingteabyToyin and bodytalkbyToyin.
Toyin Abraham’s Relationship and Family Life
The screen diva was once married to fellow actor, Adeniyi Johnson. The marriage hit the rocks two years after. According to reports, the separation was as a result of infidelity on the husband’s part. In July 2019, she had a traditional engagement with Kolawole Ajeyemi, an actor too and together they welcomed their first child in August, 2019. She changed her name from Toyin Aimakhu to Toyin Abraham in 2016. According to her, the change was her family’s decision.
