Bournemouth Vs Newcastle United EPL 16 March Preview

Bournemouth will be aiming to continue their home winning run and create more synergy between its attack lines when they welcome Newcastle United to their home ground.

Bournemouth

After hammering Chelsea a devastating 4-0 at the end of January, Howe’s side has amassed just one point from their last five league games.

Injury to in-form striker Callum Wilson has really hampered their chances of going forward and another to Brooks ultimately killed off their attacks.

However, a return of Wilson help them stroll past basement club, Huddersfield town in their last outing.

Inspite of winning only 5 of their last 20 games, the Cherries occupy 12th place on the log and a win here could see them jump into the top half of the log.

25 of their 37 points have been gotten on home grounds and they will be hoping that their home form helps them triumph over Rafael Benitez’s side.

Newcastle United

The Magpies are now just three points behind their hosts. They have in top form of recent. Salomon Rondon has been relentless in banging goals and assists with January signing, Miguel Almiron calling the shots from the middle of the park.

Last weekend, they overcame a 2-0 deficit at half-time to overcome Everton 3-2 at the St. James’ Park. They now have five home wins in a row.

That said, their away form hasn’t been so strong and they have grabbed wins away from home only twice with those coming against basement club, Huddersfield and Sean Dyche’s Burnley.

A win or two before season’s end could secure their chances of keeping off the drop zone and they will be looking to grab that win anytime soon.
