Brazil Vs Panama International Friendly 23 March Preview

Brazil go into their scheduled International friendlies having secured a six-match winning streak with their last defeat going as far back as the 2018 World Cup quarter-finals where they lost to Belgium.

Brazil

The footballing nation were disappointed having lost a chance of progressing to the last four of the World Cup but they’ve responded to this setback in the best way possible.

They’ve recorded six victories since then having conceded none in the process and it is a run of wins which saw them record narrow victories against Uruguay and Argentina who were without their talisman, Lionel Messi.

There is no doubt that Brazil remain one of the favourites for the coming Copa America but there is an increase in demand that the players reproduce their club form especially in front of goal.

The Selecaos have scored just five in their last four outings and the only time that they’ve scored more than twice in a match came as far back as September when they took five past El Savador.

Panama

Panama are on a bad run having lost five and drawn one of their last six outings. They have been unable to build on a form which saw them qualify for the World Cup in Russia for the first time in their history.

This poor form has resulted in the return of Julio Dely Valdes to the position of manager and has a herculean task on his hands to develop the next crop of players available to him.

Many of the members of the team who represented the country at the World Cup are no longer present at the squad and the manager willing to fancy his chances of bringing something out of these new crop of players.
