BREAKING: Buhari Reverses Suspension of Damilola Ogunbiyi, Accepts Her Resignation
President Muhammadu Buhari has reversed the suspension of former Managing Director/CEO of Rural Electrification Agency (REA), Damilola Ogunbiyi.
Recall that Ogunbiyi served in the current administration for four and a half years before taking up a United Nations job.

She will serve as the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Representative for Sustainable Energy for All, Co-Chair of UN-Energy, and CEO of Sustainable Energy for All.
The latest development was revealed in a statement posted on the social media page of the Presidency.
It reads: President @MBuhari has directed that the suspension of Mrs. Damilola Ogunbiyi from her role as Managing Director of @realREANigeria be reversed. Her resignation effective 31 December 2019 has been accepted to enable her take up her new @UN appointment.”

Ogunbiyi had on her her assumption at the world body organization said she is passionate about her responsibilities as she helps global citizens embrace sustainable energy in line with UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, including Goal 7.
