Breaking: Coronavirus Positive Cases Now 26 in Nigeria
The coronavirus case in Nigeria has risen to 26.
This was revealed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). According to the body, this is at 08:05 am today.
“One new case of #COVID19 has been confirmed in Oyo state, Nigeria As at 08:05 am on the 22nd of March, there are 26 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria Of the 26 confirmed cases, 2 have been discharged with no death,” it tweeted.
Currently, there have been 19 cases in Lagos, three in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), three in Ogun, two in Ekiti and one in Oyo State.
As of yesterday, there were 22 cases. But the number rose to 26 in the last hour.
According to NCDC, the three previous cases reported in Lagos State have travel history to high-risk countries in the last 7 days.
It also stated that it is working closely with the Lagos State Ministry of Health to identify and follow
