Breaking News: Boko Haram Attacks Two Military Bases

Two military bases in the Northeastern zone of Nigeria suffered attacks from the infamous Boko Haram terrorists.

Sources revealed that the terrorists attacked a naval base and a multinational joint task force (MNJTF) post in Baga. This attack, which began at about 7:00 pm local time (1800 GMT) was done to gain control of strategic areas of the Lake Chad.

According to a source who pleaded anonymity, “The troops were overpowered and forced to withdraw, the terrorists carted away gun trucks, ammunition and multiple rocket launchers from the base.”

In a statement released by the Spokesman of the Nigerian Army, Sani Usman, he said “The troops along with their Nigerian Navy counterparts put up a very determined fight all night. Sadly, one navy personnel was killed”.

The Boko Haram insurgency which has lasted for nine years — killed thousands of both military and civilians, and also rendered over two million people homeless — is a scourging war against humanity.
