Samuel Ortom Of The PDP Declared Winner Of Benue Elections

Samuel Ortom of the People’s Democratic Party has been declared winner of the Benue Elections securing a second term with a total of 434,473 votes.

Professor Maimako Sebastian, returning officer of the State declared Otom winner of the elections after he polled significantly higher than his closest rival, Emmanuel Jime and candidate of the APC who got 345, 155, a margin of 89,318.

Tambuwal Wins Sokoto State Elections With Slimmest Of Margins

Governorship candidate of the PDP, Aminu Tambuwal had been declared winner of the Sokoto State elections after beating his closest rival with the slimmest of margins after the collation of results from 22 LGs where supplementary elections were held.

Indeed, PDP defeated APC by a little margin of 341 votes.

Ambode And Other APC Chieftains Grace Osibanjo Thanksgiving Service

Ambode, Aregbesola, Ajimobi and other APC chieftains were present to grace the thanksgiving service hosted by the Vice President, Yemi Osibanjo and wife, Dolapo Osibanjo at an Interdenominational service at  their hometown, Ikenne, Ogun State.

The ruling All Progressive Congress have been declared winner of the supplementary elections held in 28 affected Local Government areas of Kano State. The candidate of APC polled a total of 45,876 while that of the PDP polled 10,239.

Buba Galadima Accuses PDP Of Paying Politicians To Beg Atiku

Spokesman of the PDP, Buba Galadima has accused the APC of sponsoring and paying some highly placed persons to beg Atiku and convince him not to appeal the result of the Presidential elections. He reiterated that the APC used the military to rig the elections.

Benue APC have made a move to reject Otom’s victory at the Benue polls as they head to the tribunal to contest the victory. The party said in a statement on Sunday that the declared results were not a true reflection of the wishes of the people.
