APC Lauds Oyo Electorate

The Oyo State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has hailed the people of Oyo State for their overwhelming votes, support and demonstration of loyalty in the Presidential and National Assembly polls held at the weekend.

The party also commended its followers and supporters for ensuring that the party triumphs during the polls and the ceaseless efforts during the execution of its people-oriented programmes for the people of the state.


Extortion: Over 50 Illegal Checkpoints Litter Lagos Port Roads

Despite the genuine efforts of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), truck owners as well as other port users to ease the flow of traffic on the Lagos port access roads, the problem of extortion has continued to increase as investigations have revealed that there are over 50 illegal checkpoints on the Lagos port corridors.

These checkpoints have become extortion points for the military taskforce personnel deployed to ease the flow of traffic while touts haven’t been left out of the extortion exercise as truck-drivers are fleeced at every checkpoint.


Buhari Wins Sokoto, Defeats PDP With 138,729 Votes

The All Progressive Congress (APC), candidate in the 2019 Presidential elections, President Muhammadu Buhari has won the general election in Sokoto State with a margin of 138,729 votes.

While announcing the results at the main auditorium of Sultan Muhammad Maccido institute of Quranic and general studies, the State collation Officer, Professor Yakub Yahusa, who is the vice Chancellor of Bayero University, Kano disclosed that the candidate of APC scores a total number of 490,333 while the candidate of PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar scores 351604.


Sen. Bwacha Of PDP Wins Taraba South Senatorial Poll

Sen. Emmanuel Bwacha of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been declared winner of the Taraba South Senatorial poll with 96,352 votes.

Prof. Adeyeye Solomon, the Returning Officer declared the results in Wukari on Monday.

Solomon said that Ishaya Bauka of the All Progressives Congress (APC) placed second with 51,971 votes while Joel Ikenya of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) came third with 47,093 votes.


Ndume Returns To Senate

Senate Leader, Ali- Ndume of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has emerged winner of the Southern Borno Senatorial Constituency election.

Ndume was declared winner on Sunday in Biu by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) having scored the highest votes cast in the Saturday’s election.


APC’s Yayi Wins Lagos West Senatorial Seat

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Monday declared the All Progressive Congress (APC), Sen. Solomon Adeola (Yayi) winner of the Lagos West Senatorial district.

The INEC Returning Officer, Prof Olumide Adenuga of the University of Lagos, said that Adeola polled a total of 323,817 votes to emerge winner.

He defeated his closest rival Gbadebo Rhodes of the Peoples Democratic Party, who had 243,516 votes.


Buhari Wins Massively In Borno, Clears All 17 LGAs Declared So Far

President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressive Congress, APC has defeated Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in seventeen out of the twenty-seven LGAs in Borno state

Declaring some of the results in Maiduguri on Monday, returning officer Professor Saminu Ibrahim said that more results will be declared in the next twenty-four hours.


Atiku Leads Buhari In 10 LGAs Of Rivers

Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is leading in 10 of the 23 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Rivers in the results so far released.

The latest results announced by Collation Officers of Khana, Ogu/Bolo and Opobo/Nkoro, showed Atiku maintaining his lead over President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Party (APC).

The breakdown of the results showed that former Vice President Atiku got a total of 333,385 in 10 LGAs, while Buhari garnered 75,440 in the two LGAs.


Buhari Clears Katsina With 1.23million Votes

The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari has polled 1,232,133 votes in Katsina, his home state in Saturday’s presidential election.

Prof. Fatima Mukhtar, the State Collation Officer said Buhari defeated Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party who got 308,056 votes.
