Three persons were killed while 45 others were injured in a twin bomb attack carried out by suspected Boko Haram members in Maiduguri, Borno state on Sunday.
Bello Dambatta, Head of the Rapid Response Team of the Borno State Emergency Management Agency, who confirmed the incident to journalists said two members of the civilian joint task force confronted the suicide bomb carrier and made attempt to halt them, however, they were sadly killed alongside one civilian following the confrontation which took place.
