We Won’t Be Led to Undermine Our Hard-Earned Democratic – Military

The Armed Forces of Nigerian (AFN) has dissociated itself from what it called rascality and intentions as espoused in a document being circulated by a faceless group named Nigerian Continuity and Progress (NCP) calling for support of a revolution to oust the current democratically elected government and in its place establish an illegitimate interim government.

Muhammed Ahmed Wabi, Deputy Director Defence Information in a statement said the AFN outrightly condemned the undemocratic and demonic actions of the author of the document.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has lambasted President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress (APC) for thinking that moving major events of its planned Presidential inauguration from May 29 to June 12, the democracy Day, can confer any form of legitimacy to the outcome of the 2019 Presidential election which it alleged was rigged.

Kola Ologbondiyan, PDP’s National Publicity Secretary in a statement in Abuja pointed that inviting world leaders to the inauguration cannot confer international recognition for what the opposition termed a stolen mandate.

Buhari Is Just Seeking Public Acceptance, He Is Not Committed to True Federalism- PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has told President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress (APC) to stop posturing as if they truly have the mandate of Nigerians for a second term in the Presidency after allegedly rigging the 2019 Presidential election which it said was won by its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

Kola Ologbondiyan, PDP’s National Publicity Secretary in a statement released in Abuja claimed that President Buhari is trying to use another promise of true federalism to earn legitimacy for what it described as a ‘rigged election’, adding that it is a ploy that is dead on arrival, as Nigerians are very much aware that he and his party, the APC, have never shown any commitment towards true federalism.

NLC President Is Being Economical With The Truth on NSITF Board – Ngige

The Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, has said that the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Ayuba Wabba is being economical with the truth on the nomination of Frank Kokori as the Chairman of National Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF).

Ngige, who said he told the labour union that the name inserted there is an invalid nomination alleged that the NLC President came to his office and lied to him that the Vice President asked them to bring a nomination.

[Video] Man Stealing Generator Caught on CCTV

The video of a Nigerian man, nabbed by a CCTV which showed him stealing a generator has gone viral on the internet.

The man was seen in a compound which appeared as if no one was home at that time and then looked around his environment for a few minutes before embarking on his dastardly act of making away with the generator in the compound.
