Atiku Demands Apology From Buhari’s Aide And Pay N500m

The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the February 23, 2019 general election, Atiku Abubakar has demanded that the Special Assistant to the President Muhammadu Buhari on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie, apologise, retract and pay him the sum N500 million as damages for the defamatory statement/publication against him.

Atiku through his counsel, Chief Mike Ozekhome (SAN) in a letter dated May 14, 2019, Atiku, said the vile and denigrating publication with the caption, “Atiku on UAE watchlist – Security Sources”, was made available to the whole world on the twitter handle page of the Presidential aide.

Many ex Governors have turned Senate to burial ground – Former Lawmaker

Former lawmaker, Nkechi Nwaogu, has said that many of the former Governors have turned the Senate to a political burial ground.

Senator, who declared that they go there to hide with nothing to offer noted that solutions must be found to put a stop to it or else in the near future, there would be more former governors in the Senate than people who are there to work for the public.

Anglican Church Dismisses 4 More Gay Priests in Abia State

An Anglican Church in the Diocese of Isiala- Ngwa, in Abia state dismissed 4 priests after an investigation revealed that they are gay.

The concerned priests sacked as a result of homosexuality are Rev. Canon Emmanuel Nwankwo,  Rev. Kelechi, Nwachukwu, Rev. Sunday Azubuike, and Rev. Chris Achonye.

The lawmaker representing Kaduna centra District, Shehu Sanni has alleged that Senator Dino Melaye was among the lawmakers that buried electric car bill proposed by Senator Ben Murray-Bruce

Sanni, who pointed that he was not given the privilege to speak on the matter during the plenary disclosed that when Murray-Bruce moved his motion, some senators permitted to speak lashed at him and when it was Melaye’s turn to speak, he sent the bill to an early grave.

Zlatan Releases New Song About His Experience In EFCC Custody

Nigerian music art, Zlatan who was arrested by EFCC alongside fellow artist, Naira Marley has released a new song, sings about his experience in EFCC custody.

The song titled ” 4 nights in Ekotieeboh” was about his arrest and his stay in EFCC custody, having some lyrics  directed at people who “pretend they are holy and are quick to judge.”
