BREAKING: Pipeline Explodes in Idimu, One Dead And Scores Injured
Reports reaching us indicate that there is a pipeline explosion at Gloryland Estate, Isheri Olofin, Egbe-Idimu Local Council Development Area of Lagos.
This incident has made many residents of the area scamper for safety.
As at the time of filing this report, men of the Lagos State Fire Service are battling out the fire in the incident that has left at lease a person dead.

Scores have also been injured. It was gathered that the deceased was a vandal who could not escape when the pipeline exploded within the community.
Following the explosion that has led to pandemonium, it was discovered that the entire community had been enveloped by thick smoke oozing out from the explosion scene.
According to the Public Affairs of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Nosa Okunbor, the vandals ruptured the pipelines at four different points within the community.

“Upon the arrival of the Lagos Response Team (LRT) as well as other emergency responders at the incident scene, it was observed that pipelines located within Diamond Estate/Idowu Egba was ruptured and spilling petrol which resulted to a fire outbreak in four (4) points”.
