With the Grammys done and the Oscars only a few days away, it seems like it is an award galore month, well that’s for the most deserving of artistes and silverscreen actors and actresses. In the same vein, an award ceremony filled with fanfare, cheers, jeers, disappointments and superb performances was what was expected of the BRIT awards and it delivered just that.

Earlier on, iDONSABI.com submitted that the BRIT awards will be going down at London’s O2 Arena last night – the 20th of February 2019.

The BRIT awards, acronym for British Record Industry is an event held to celebrate excellence in music. It parades itself as the highest profiled music awards and it has never for once disappointed in being just that.

Ariana Grande, The 1975, George Ezra and Jorja Smith were among the biggest winners.

George Ezra and Jorja Smith were awarded the Best British Male Solo Artist and Best Female Solo Artist respectively while The 1975 were named Best British Group with Best British Single falling to Dua Lipa and Calvin Harris for their collaboration on the song – ‘One Kiss’.
