Buhari Can’t Pay New Minimum Wage, But Can Buy Votes – Adeyanju

– Adeyanju says the ruling government has no money to pay for the new minimum wage.

– Adeyanju says the next free money will be available in November for Kogi and Bayelsa governorship polls.

Human right activist, Deji Adeyanju has lambasted the President Muhammadu Buhari administration over delay to assent to the new minimum wage bill.

While mocking the ruling government that the only money remaining in the government coffer is the one they will use to buy votes in Kogi and Bayelsa in November, ASdeyanju said the next free money is in November.

He took to his Twitter handle telling Nigerians not to fool themselves.

“When I see Nigerians fooling themselves, all I do is laugh. How will you pay the Minimum Wage of N30,000 if approved? Where’s the money? Money they have used to buy votes,” HE ADDED.

Speaking on the demolition of some structures inside the premises of the African Independent Television (AIT), Adeyanju, who is a staunch critic of the Buhari government stated that he had warned Nigerians about what to come.

“Nigerians will see wonders with their eyes. We warned about the unfolding tyranny. Everybody will get a taste of it. The media, judiciary, legislature, civic space and fellow citizens,” he tweeted.
