It is not surprising that the nationwide broadcast of President Muhammadu Buhari will be a talking point as Nigeria and the world at large battle to contain the deadly coronavirus pandemic.

Nigeria currently has 1337 cases. confirmed cases with 255 patients discharged after treatment while 40 deaths have been recorded so far.

Due to the new order of a nationwide curfew of 8 pm to 6 am, there have been several reactions on social media, leading to the trend #Buhari, #4th of May.

Meanwhile, Kano is exempted from the 8-6 curfew over the rising case of deaths that have not been reportedly related to coronavirus.
