Bukola Saraki reacts to the killing of Sen. Marafa’s elder sister

The Sen. President Bukola Saraki in a recent statement has commiserated with the family of Senator Kabiru Marafa over the killing of Hajiya Ade Marafa by suspected bandits.

According to the report made available earlier today by the aide to the senator, Abubakar Abdullahi Tsafe, he disclosed that the bandits stormed the residence of the Senator’s elder sister in Ruwan Bore Village, Gusau, Zamfara in the early hours of today.

Alhaji Ibrahim, husband to Hajiya Ade Marafa was also abducted by the bandits.

Senator Bukola in his statement said such evil acts should not have a place in the country.

He said via his Twitter handle, “I am deeply saddened to hear about the killing of Senator Kabiru Marafa’s elder Sister, Hajiya Ade Marafa, by suspected bandits in Ruwan Bore village, Gusau, Zamfara, and the abduction of her husband, Alhaji Ibrahim and his brother. Such evil acts must have no place in Nigeria”
The Senate President in his statement also offered prayers to the deceased family and the people of Ruwan Bore village.
He said, “My heartfelt prayers are with Senator Marafa, his family, the people of Ruwan Bore village and all the affected communities in Zamfara State as they pull together following this tragedy.”

Senator Bukola Saraki however appealed to the security agencies to do every thing possible to bring the perpetrators of the evil act to book.

He added, “Our security agents must do everything within their power to apprehend the perpetrators and bring them to justice. Efforts must be intensified across the board to immediately restore peace in the affected communities and protect all lives and property.”
