Burnley Vs Tottenham EPL 23 February Preview

Tottenham will be looking to continue their quest to challenge for the Premier League title when they go on a trip to Burnley to try get a win over a rejuventated Sean Dyche side.

Burnley

The Clarets might have had a very poor first half of the season that saw them lose 13 and draw three of their opening 19 games but they have since then showed character, picking up 15 points out a possible 21 since then.

Indeed, only Manchester United under the tutelage of caretaker manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has gone more games than Burnley.

Sean Dyche’s side looks like they are set to go far above the relegation zone and seem to be in-form at the moment. The Claret would be willing to fancy their chances against the Lilywhites on home soil.

Tottenham

The Lilywhites will be coming into this game off the back of a four-match winning run that has seen them even go on to win Bundesliga leaders, Borussia Dortmund by as much as a 3-goal margin.

Despite the injuries to the attacking pair of Harry Kane and Dele Alli, Fernando Llorente and Son Heung-Min have stayed strong for the Lilywhites and have stirred them to four straight wins, putting their crashes out of the FA Cup and EFL Cup fast behind them.

They might be the favourites for this match-up but they would be aware of the how much Sean Dyche’s side could hurt their dreams of making the league a three-legged race.
