Carragher Promises Super Cup Spotkick Hero – Adrian – A Free House

Liverpool stopper and spot kick hero, Adrian has now earned himself a house if he ever considers living in Merseyside after Liverpool legend, Jamie Carragher promised him a house following his Super Cup heroics.

Only two months ago, Adrian was without a club after West Ham had released him. In a twist of events, the 33 year old has become the new hero of Anfield having had to step up to fill Alisson shoes after the Brazilian picked up a calf injury in Liverpool’s game against Norwich City.

Adrian couldn’t keep a clean sheet agaisnt Norwich, neither could he against Chelsea in the Super Cup but his goalkeeping heroics especially in the penalty shoot out has earned him a house on a free courtesy of Jamie Carragher.

The Liverpool legend had revealed during the Reds’ opening day win over Norwich City in the Premier League that the former Hammers goalie had been for a viewing at the house Carragher is looking to sell on Merseyside.

And now the legend would be willing to give up the house for far less its asking price if the Spaniard goalie continues with his impressive form for the Merseyside club.

“Adrian can have the house for f*** all!!,” the ex-England international tweeted.

Sadio Mane’s brace had put Jurgen Klopp’s men ahead in extra time after an Olivier Giroud opener only few minutes into the game before a spot kick by Jorginho after a foul on Tammy Abraham sent the game into a fierce penalty shoot-out.

Adrian while speaking to BT Sport beamed : “Welcome to Liverpool! I’m really happy for the team, I’m happy to play for Liverpool and happy for the fans. It was a long game but in the end a great finish for us.”

Liverpool gaffer, Klopp added: “He’s loud in the dressing room already. I don’t think he’s won a lot in his life so it’s good for him to win it. He made some unbelievable saves, both keepers did, so I’m really happy for him.”
