Chelsea Vs Tottenham EPL 27 February Preview

Chelsea will face off Tottenham at the Bridge with both teams aiming to bounce back from their disappointing defeats over the weekend.

Chelsea lost out on penalties to Manchester City in the EFL cup to ruin their chances of getting any silver ware this season while Spurs dainted their title hopes by falling to a 2-1 defeat in the hands of Burnley.

Chelsea

The London Blues have just lost out on their chances of clinching the EFL Cup in a match that was headlined by Kepa Arrizabalaga’s refusal to come off for Willy Caballero even with insistence by Maurizio Sarri.

The Italian gaffer seems like he could soon be on his way out after losing out in the finals with memories of a 6-0 drubbing at the hands of City still fresh in their memories.

An in-form Arsenal putting up back to back wins and a United side who still remain unbeaten in 13 league games could see the hopes of Chelsea getting into the top four a major doubt and a loss at the Bridge could mean the last of Sarri on Chelsea’s touchlines.

Tottenham

Pochettino was gutted by his side’s loss to Burnley over the weekend with the Argentine gaffer looking furious over some of referee, Mike Dean’s decision.

Indeed, Pochettino squared up to the referee at full-time in what could earn him a fine and touch-line ban.

They would be boosted by the return of Harry Kane and will be looking to avoid any more slip-ups
