Former Ogun Governor, Gbenga Daniel has prayed for healing over Nigeria over the COVID-19 challenge.
The dreaded virus is wreaking havoc globally with over 58,000 people dead and over a million infected.
Thanking God for another birthday which he clocks 64, Daniel also commiserated with those who didn’t survive it and wish the other patients quick recovery.
He also urged people to follow the government’s guidelines and stay at home.
“I give God the glory for the dawn of another year. It has been 64 long years of Testimony and Thanksgiving… and it has been Him all through. Thanks to my wife and children who have been part of this journey.. and all those I have met along the way.
“May God heal our Land and our World from the ravaging scourge of Coronavirus; my heart goes out to the dead and the sick. Let’s stay at home to keep safe, well and alive.”
Nigeria currently has 232 cases with 33 discharged and five deaths. Lagos the commercial centre is the epicentre of the virus with 120 cases, but 29 have been discharged.
