Melaye, who is a controversial lawmaker and a critic of the ruling government took to his Twiter page to congratulate the governors and wrote: “Gov Makinde and Gov Bala Mohammed congratulations. Affliction shall not arise a second time. We are happy and God is with you. More Grace upon your lives. SDM”

He further lambasted the government for not respecting the Nigerian Medical Association  (NMA) over the presence of the 15 medical experts from China meant to help in battling the spread of the virus in the country.

The NMA has expressed its dismay over the move made by the government. The government had however said that they are not coming here to practice, adding that they are only coming to give expert advice on how they were able to overcome the virus in their country where it emanated from. On their arrival, they were put on quarantine where they will be under close supervision for the next two weeks as part of the health guideline.

“It is Leadership irresponsibility for the FG to disregard the call by majority Nigerians on the importation of Chinese doctors into Nigeria. It is gross disrespect for the NMA to be ignored with ignominy. Except the Chinese doctors are here to treat infected Aso rock patients.

“OH GOD give us Leaders who Fear You and are passionately in love with their people,” Melaye further wrote.
