COVID-19: See The High Risk Areas in Lagos State

The Lags state government has released data about the COVID-19 infection across the 20 Local Government Areas.

According to the data released by the state government, as of April 18th, Lagos Mainland with 107 cases followed by Eti-Osa LG has 57. Third, on the list is Ikeja with 41 cases.
They noted that some of the walk-in cases to IDH fell under Lagos Mainland.
Alimosho also has 15 cases. Presently Lagos has 376 and 93 patients have been discharged after testing negative to the virus twice.

So, this data before the new 70 cases announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has 194 active cases. The addition of 70 takes the number to 274. Five were transferred or evacuated while fourteen gave up the ghost from COVID-19 complication.

The age distribution data shows that most withing the age of 30 to 39 got infected most while the least are between the ages of 70 and 80 years. Seventy percent of the COVID-19 patients are male.

Most of the COVID-19 patients on admission had fever, followed by cough which 55 patients had. Others are shortness of breath (21), Anosmia (14) and chest pain (9).
