COVID-19 World Update
The positive cases of COVID-19 have reached 50000 s predicted by the World Health Organisation (WHO).

Iranian Parliamentary Speaker Ali Larijani has joined the list of positive. As a result of the situation, the 62-year-old lawmaker is now in quarantine.

According to the semi-official Isna news agency, the number of COVID-19 cases in the country is now 50,468 while its death toll according to the Health Ministry has risen to 3,160. Out of the over 50000 cases, over 4,000 of those infected are in critical condition.
In a related development, the UK government has recorded almost 3,000 COVID-19 deaths after setting a new daily record of 569 deaths on Thursday.
According to the Health Ministry, there are about 34000 positive cases in the country from 163,000 people tested.

However, health experts have questioned the country’s low rate of testing while government experts estimated that hundreds of thousands of people have been infected already.
