Cristiano Ronaldo Gets The Equalizer Against Inter In An Interesting Night Of Italian Football
Whilst Lionel Messi was at it in Spain, Cristiano Ronaldo notched his 600th goal in all club competitions as his Juventus side – already crowned Serie A winners – held Inter Milan to a draw at the San Siro.
Juventus who lifted their eight consecutive Serie A title with win over Fiorentina last weekend fell behind early to a Radja Nainggolan superb volley before Ronaldo levelled matters just after the hour mark with a strike from the edge of the penalty box.
In a game of racing hearts and a tensed atmosphere, both sides had the chances to get a win but goalkeepers, Wojciech Szczesny and Samir Handanovic were at their absolute best denying any more goals.

Inter Milan got on the scoresheet first with only seven minutes on the clock with a beautiful strike from Nainggolan.
The Biaconeris failed to clear a corner and Politano scooped the ball to the right for Nainggolan to unleash an incredible volley from 30yards out into the top corner of the net and a touch from Szczesny couldn’t keep the ball out.
Szczesny had a busy day at the office and was called into action minutes after to deny Mauro Icardi and Stefan de Vrij from close range.
Juventus offered little in attack as their best chances were speculative long-range efforts from Leonardo Bonucci an Giorgio Chiellini before Bernaeschi swept the ball over the crossbar and into the stands.
A block from Blaise Matuidi kept things from going sour for Juve before Icardi’s shot was stopped centimeters away from the goalline.
Handanovic had kept out a header by Ronaldo only to concede one moments later. The Portuguese executed a neat exchange of passes with Miralem Pjanic, creating some space for Ronaldo to send a low shot into the bottom corner.
The Serie A Champions enjoyed a bit of pressure in the final minutes of the encounter but failed to grab the winner.
Inter Milan 1-1 Juventus it ended.
