Deji Adeyanju, Social Media Users Mock Bayelsa Governor- Elect David Lyon for Not Being Able to Speak Proper English

Human rights activist, Deji Adeyanju, is part of those mocking Bayelsa Gover-elect, David Lyon for not being able to speak English properly.

This is a reaction to a press conference held in Abuja after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.

“English is such a difficult language. This is the guy they rigged the Bayelsa gubernatorial elections for,” Adeyanju tweeted.

‘Best day of my life’

Lyon said the day he won the poll was one of the greatest days of his life.

“It’s one of my great days in my life. The great people of Bayelsans have spoken their mind by taking time to vote our great party, APC.”

While describing his emergence as the governor-elect as a welcome development, he commended the electorates for making it possible.

“It is indeed a welcome development because in our own campaign we give to them that when being elected and swear-in, security, and development is our key agendas. And with the support of Bayelsans, they have made it possible.

“Today, on behalf of my APC leaders, I promise Bayelsasn that we will serve them not Bayelsans to serve us. We also promise that we will respect leadership, respect leadership is key to us, and today, their votes have been counted, and the people of Bayelsa would be respected,” he added.

He also expressed his appreciation to President Buhari for his fatherly advice during the visit.

“Am sincerely grateful to our father, the president of this country for his fatherly advice this afternoon as one of his son in APC. I thank you very much. We Bayelsans will not disappoint APC.”
