Delta State Police Rescues Lady From The Hands of Ritualists
Operatives of the Delta State police command, yesterday, April 18th, rescued a lady from the hands of suspected kidnappers and ritualists in Asaba, Delta state.
According to reports, the lady was known to be returning from Ogbegonogo market in Asaba when she boarded their tricycle.
Meanwhile, unknowing to her, two other gang members later joined her from both sides of the tricycle, leaving her in the middle of the two gang members.
However, she began to get worried and heavily troubled when the tricycle rider refused to stop where the victim was supposed to get down. This prompted the victim to raise an alarm that caught the attention of some policemen who gave them a hot pursiut and eventually rescued the girl and apprehended the suspects.

An eyewitness who preferred anonymity stated that one of the arrested gang member of the robbery and ritualist group in a bid to disappear from the scene threw a ring suspected to be magic ring in his mouth and attempted to vanish but the Police diffused the charm.
Irate youths around the area who gathered at the scene made efforts to go on jungle justice but the Delta state police prevented them from doing such.
