Democracy Day: Pres. Buhari applauds Super Falcons for deserved win over S’Korea

– He stated that the victory is a well deserved win on a Special day

The Nigerian Super Falcons played the South Korean female players today in the FIFA women world cup with the game ending in a 2-0 victory for the Nigerian side.

A report via Pres. Muhammadu Buhari personal assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad disclosed that the President rushed to watch the match immediately after a luncheon he hosted visiting Head of States and world leaders who were in the country to witness the Democracy Day Celebration.

Bashir Ahmad in his tweet wrote, “President Muhammadu Buhari watches Nigeria’s Super Falcons’ 2-0 win march against South Korea. PMB rushed to watch the match immediately after a luncheon he hosted visiting Head of States and other leaders who are in Nigeria to witness the National #DemocracyDay celebration. #NGAKOR #NGA”

The President following the Super Falcons victory in the match against South Korea disclosed that it was a well deserved victory on a very special day for the country.
He disclosed that he was pleased to watch the match.
Pres. Muhammadu Buhari in his statement said, “I’m pleased I was able to watch the Super Falcons match against South Korea, after the Democracy Day Lunch. Congratulations to the Team and Coaching Crew. A well-deserved win on a very special day for Nigeria. We are all proud of your victory.”
In another report, Pres. Muhammadu Buhari in his speech today assured Nigerians of better days ahead in his new administration.
Another report disclosed that no Nigerian former head of state was present at the June 12 Democracy Day Celebration, however, there is yet to be any reason for their absence.
