Dice Ailes Criticized For Using Image Of Late South African, Sarah Baartman For His Music Artwork

Nigerian singer, Dice Ailes has been accused of being ‘ignorant’ of history after he used the picture of late Sarah Baartman for the artwork of his latest single titled ‘Ginika’.

Late Sarah Baartman was a South African who was paraded by the colonial Europeans because of her large buttocks. She was kept in a cage and was turned to attraction for people in Europe.

Meanwhile, Dice Ailes song is in no way a praise or tribute to the late Sarah Baartman hence the backlash.
