Donald Trump, And Wife Contract COVID-19

American president, Donald Trump and his wife, Melania Trump have contracted COVID-19.

The president revealed this via his Twiter page this morning after going through campaigns ahead of the November elections without nose masks or face shields.

Trump and his wife had to be tested after Hope Hicks, his close aide contracted the dreaded virus. Their result finally arrived after a few hours and they turned out positive as well.

“Tonight, @FLOTUS  and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!” he wrote.

Also corroborating Trump, Melania tweeted: ” As too many Americans have done this year, @potus  & I are quarantining at home after testing positive for COVID-19. We are feeling good & I have postponed all upcoming engagements. Please be sure you are staying safe & we will all get through this together.”

The United state currently has 7.31m cases while 208,00 thousand have lost their lives to the dreaded virus.

Meanwhile, the world’s total stands at 34.2m, with 23.7m patients discharged. Also, the death toll currently stands at 1.02m.
