Anthony Joshua became the latest victim of the mystified defeats sportsmen fall to after taking a picture with Canadian rapper, Drake – the ‘Drake Curse‘ – after his shock defeat to Mexican Anthony Ruiz Jr.

The Nigerian lost his first fight of his professional career losing his three belts – IBF, WBA and WBO – all at once after vowing to end Drake’s voodoo.

He went to the floor four times before the referee decided to save his neck and end the game.

Joshua had claimed in an Instagram post that he would break the curse when he took a photo with Drake with the caption “bout to break the curse #Jun 1st” but that later came back to haunt him as he was stunned by Anthony Ruiz in the seventh round.
