Ebonyi Governor Dave Umahi Tests Positive for COVID-19
Ebonyi Governor, Dave Umahi has been tested positive of the deadly coronavirus.
The Governor made the revelation after the result of the test conducted by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) came back positive.

AllNigerianinfo also gathered that some aides of Umahi reportedly tested positive. This has made him to direct his deputy, Kelechi Igwe, to take over the frontline coordination of the state’s fight against the pandemic.
Umahi, who said he is asymptomatic appealed to the people of Ebonyi to take the NCDC protocols more seriously.
Recently, his Ondo and Delta state counterparts, Oluwariotimi Akeredolu and Ifeanyi Okowa tested positive to the virus.

Also Abia state governor, Okezie Ikpeazu recently recovered from the deadly virus after testing positive.
Other governors that have had the virus and overcame it are Seyi Makinde (Oyo), Bala Mohammed, and Nasir el-Rufa’i (Kaduna).
