#EndSARS: ‘If I Were You, I Will Resign from This Evil Government’, Reno Omokri Tells Osinbajo

Reno Omokri, a former media aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan has advised Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to resign.

This is following Osinbajo’s latest reaction to the alleged killings of unarmed peaceful #EndSARS protesters at Lekki Toll Gate by soldiers on Tuesday evening.

The Vice President had visited some of the injured victims of the incident at a hospital in Lagos, with the promise that justice will be served.

“My heart goes out to all the victims of the Lekki shootings, and also the policemen and all other men and women who lost their lives in the past few days in different parts of Lagos & other states.
“I spoke to some of those in hospital. The pain of these terrible events is palpable in our towns and cities, and some losses are irreplaceable, but we can and will get justice for all of them. I stand with Lagos & all other affected states in these trying times.”
Reacting, Omokri tweeted: “If I were VP @ProOsinbajo, I would resign from this evil government. If I could not resign, then I would have used the appeal by LUTH to go and publicly donate blood to victims of the #LekkiMassacre, as a way to figuratively dissociate myself from this wicked government #EndSARS.”
He further stated that the killing of unarmed protesters has delegitimized President Muhammadu Buhari’s government.
“General @Mbuhari cant ignore the elephant in the room. #LekkiMassacre is the turning point. Killing unarmed, peaceful #EndSARS protesters delegitimised his government. It‘s no longer democratic. It‘s a criminal enterprise and should be made a pariah by the international community.”
