Enugu Police Command To Commence Investigation On Three PDP Campaign Buses Gutted By Fire

– The Enugu State Police command are set to commence an investigation on three burnt buses belonging to the PDP meant for the 2019 campaign

– The Fire accident occurred at a printing workshop at WTC, Enugu

 

According to a new report, the Enugu State Police Command have disclosed that they will commence an investigation on 3 buses belonging to the opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, that was gutted by fire in the state capital.

This recent information was made public by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPPO), SP Ebere Amaraizu.

According to the information made available to the press, the fire occurred on Jan. 13 at about 8 pm at a printing workshop located at WTC by Ogui New Layout axis in the state capital.

However, the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained but in due course following the Police Investigation, it will be revealed.

The PPPO hinted that the fire outbreak affected three Sienna cars and three Coaster buses parked at the said printing/branding workshop.

He disclosed that the fire could have escalated if not for the prompt response of the state fire service that came to put an end to the fire.

SP Ebere Amaraizu further used the moment to plead with the members of the public to always reach out to the police in case of an emergency.

He said, “The command is advising members of the public to be fire safety conscious at home, offices, and shops.

“They should regularly call the police control room number on 08032003702 as well as fire service office on 08036704815 in event of any fire outbreak.”

According to a source that didn’t want to be named, the vehicles were still at the workshop with the branding yet to be completed when the fire gutted out.

The source hinted that it was the explosion that attracted the public, who called the police and the firemen.
